Tips and tricks for posting on the forums

[/font][li]Most topics fit nicely into one of the forum’s subcategories – please don’t open multiple parallel threads on the same topic in different sections. When posting, make sure to select the section most appropriate for each new thread[/li]
[li]Please pick a meaningful name for new threads; this increases structural clarity and user engagement. “No bands for CD63 on Western blot” is a much better title than “WB problem”[/li]
[li]The easier it is to read your posts, the likelier other users are to respond. Be mindful of spelling, syntax and punctuation and make use of paragraphs to structure longer posts [/li]
[li]Similar to social media, the forum includes a “like” system that can be used to provide feedback to users. Whenever you find a post to be helpful, reward it by clicking the “thumbs up” button at the top [/li]
[li]Please refrain from one-word posts such as “Yes”, “In”, “Like”, “Cool” etc. If you want to follow a thread without actually posting, you can subscribe by clicking “Actions” --> “Bookmark”[/li]
[li]You can add attachments (pictures, PDF etc.) to your posts, but we are limited to a file size of 1 MB per attachment. To shrink larger pictures accordingly, please use software such as Adobe Photoshop, GIMP etc. or turn to online services such as Shrink Pictures or Resize Photo[/li]
